Matt and I are back from a fabulous 2 weeks in Italy – I wonder if my wedding dress will ever fit again!!
Now that we’re home we finally had a chance to open all our cards and gifts. Thank you so much for your lovely card and for saving all those corks for us!! – What a fantastic idea! We have adopted your idea and now have a bell jar of corks on our windowsill and have started adding to them already!! :0)
I also wanted to thank you properly for all your hard work and help in the run up to and on the day itself. It really was like a dream and I could not have asked for a better day. The food and service were exceptional and we’ve had so many compliments from guests. The cocktail also went down very well!!

Just a quick email to say a huge thanks to you and all of your staff for the most amazing food and service you provided for us and our guests at our wedding!!!
We and all the guests we have spoke to since the wedding have said the food was the best they have ever had at a wedding and loved the the fact the food was not the normal roast beef!!!
You guys were fab from the beginning to the end of our journey in planning our wedding and I must say it was a joy doing it all with you.
You are all a credit to your profession and if I ever have ‘a do’ again I will be calling on your services!!!!

Rupert and his Team worked tirelessly to ensure the day ran without any hiccups. From an Organizational perspective; it ran seamlessly – for all 250 guests!
The food was fantastic; from the small tasty canapés including a personal favourite, the bite-sized Yorkshire puds to the Chocolate fudge Wedding cake served as a dessert with crème fraiche and fruit compote. The delicious foccacia breads, salads ,Lamb, Persian style kehbabs, salmon and seabass “en pampillotte” were all a huge success with our guests too.
We were delighted with the day and how smoothly it went. Thanks for all your help with this wedding and as I have 2 more sisters we may require your assistance again soon!

Dear Rupert
Just a note to say a huge thank you for delivering on every course of our wedding day (from canapés through to the dessert and homemade chocolates).
From the moment we met you we knew that not only were you passionate about food but also very capable at delivering on that passion. The whole process was certainly made one of the easier parts of organising a wedding, in the main thanks to Rupert and his flexibility and maybe sometimes patience. We had many changes to our numbers and the menu even on the day of our wedding and nothing was too much trouble. With food being such an integral part of any wedding, you can be very much in the dark until the actual day – the pre-tasting helped – but just from spending time with Rupert we were confident that the meal would be superb.
The meal its self, was indeed superb, with many guests saying it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding and a couple more saying it was the best food they have ever had anywhere! The meat (Conway Beef) was absolutely second to none, cooked to perfection and incredibly tender, the dessert was incredible (trio of desserts) with the taste matching the presentation. The canapés really set the day off to a good start and can really recommend the “All Day Breakfast”. Rupert was not able to make the actually day but his wife and their team were very attentive and helpful at all times.
To summarise, I am a firm believer in going with your instincts and Rupert certainly instilled trust and confidence, I would recommend he and his team for any event.

The service, since our first meeting was impeccable, we really trusted you; and the food, well what can we say, it was totally and utterly fantastic. Apologies for the delay in sending this ‘Thank you’ note to you – I became an Auntie on Sunday so didn’t make it back to my desk in Southampton quite as planned.
Very many thanks for all your efforts in making our events so successful in Manchester last week. Your attention to detail during our initial recce and help with the pre-planning was much appreciated. I’m sure that this helped everything to go so smoothly during both the events.
Your team were amazing – professional, friendly, helpful and great at confidently persuading people to pause in the conversations and enjoy the divine canapés. My wife and I married last year and we both understood how influential the catering and drinks are to the overall success of the day – it’s critical and to be honest it’s often the one item that lives longest in guests’ memories.
We asked around for recommendations, we looked on the web for suggestions, we researched – you name it, we tried it. We had a short-list and invited them round for a meeting to gauge their creativity, their personal professionalism and to understand what their businesses were trying to achieve (i.e. were we just another client or were they genuinely interested in making our day as special as it could be?).
The Fine Dining Company spent a lot of time with my fiancee and I and created an afternoon menu that blended both of our backgrounds – Scottish and Sri Lankan - which is no mean feat in itself!! The team turned up on time and on the day they looked after our guests fantastically – they were always available and always discreet. The food itself was incredible – the best I have ever eaten at a wedding without doubt and Rupert and his team rightly received one of the loudest applauses of the day.
I am sure that you would like September to be a wonderful day – with The Fine Dining Company looking after all the catering you will be saving yourself a major headache and will really appreciate seeing your guests tuck in with gusto rather than push the food round the plate.

We both work in the wine trade, travel and eat out a fair bit, food is a huge part of our life and was always going to be of utmost importance on our big day. Our venue was a marquee in the middle of the beautiful Welsh countryside, the wines were selected some time ago and the crowd was going to be hard to please, Rupert and his team helped us design the menu, delivered superb food and a level of service beyond our expectations.
Everyone involved in the catering effort were flexible, attentive and professional, we have had countless compliments about the food since returning from honeymoon. A big thank you to everyone involved, we would heartily recommend The Fine Dining Company to anyone planning the catering for an important event.

We have known Rupert for some years now having first experienced his fine dining at a large motor racing event.
There is always absolutely no compromise on the quality of the food or service that Rupert produces whatever the numbers.
Since that event we have employed Rupert’s fine dining for all our occasions be it personal functions at our home or our corporate events.
In Nov 2008 we were proud to open a new facility for our business with both customers and cabinet ministers present, the event took place over 2 days with Rupert’s team attending to all the details in a most professional and un obtrusive way.
Day one was the official day where Rupert and his team provided a 3 course sit down meal for approximately 75 guests in a marquee in our grounds (Marquee also provided through the fine dining company).
I was the stressed one as on the day the motorway to our facility was closed due to an accident the guest arrivals were all over the place but Rupert still served the same high standard menu to all guest despite this setback in a completely relaxed and professional way.
Day two saw us invite employees and families (approx 100) to a function in the marquee where this time I opted for a hot / cold knife and fork buffet style menu, absolutely marvellous.
Everything was at the usual extremely high standard.
Apart from this Rupert has catered at all our personal functions and to be honest has wowed all our guests every time.
What I will say about The fine dining company is that Rupert and his team will provide a five star restaurant service at your function and having eaten in many top class restaurants all over the world I would choose Rupert and his team for a dinner party or function first always.

Hi Rupert,
Yes back in London in one piece! Last Thursday was a great success and I would really like to thank you for the wonderful service and canapés that you provided. Anthony is always so complimentary about you and it was really lovely to finally meet you and taste the delicious canapés that I had heard so much about!
I will of course keep you posted of any forth coming events in the North West. As yet we have nothing booked in the diary but you will be my first port of call when I have an event to organise.

Just to say thanks for a truly splendid service. The feedback has been amazing from the quality of the food, the amount of it and to the wonderful atittude of your staff, both with the food and the drinks.
“Better than most resaurants” according to my (French) sister in law!.
Not only was I delighted with the presentation on the day but the whole organisational process was so simple, particularly with your links with the White Marquee, the organisation of electricity etc. I have had many compliments for the organisation but I think I just met you and Tom and that was it other than how many balloons to have in a bunch!
Your wife is extremely professional and very impressive in how she handles her staff and how she liaised with me.
